Forum Rules & Guidelines.

General Rules:

1. This is a multi-cultural community.
Racism will not be tolerated and neither will sexism and discrimination of any type...your post will be removed along with your ability to post.

2. No Offensive material.
Pornographic or explicitly violent content or links to it will be removed immediately...and so will your posting ability...and most likely your ability to view the site at all.

3. No Flaming, trolling or ridiculing of members.

4. Remember not only is this a multi-racial community there is also a wide age range of members.
Accordingly,
choose your language, avatars and signatures carefully, any that is
thought to be offensive or in bad taste will be removed by staff.

5. Referral links, links to advertisement sites or similar such scams are not permitted anywhere on Darkside,
this includes users signatures, neither are links to commercial sites.
Offenders will have their post deleted and will be put on indefinite mod preview.

6.No direct downloads of copyrighted material, for example, megaupload,
Rapidshare etc. as this is against our host's Terms of Service. This
also includes direct downloads from a server or streaming videos etc.

7. No thread hijacking.
A user or small group of users may not take over a thread for another purpose or change the subject.

8. Multiple posting. The occasional double post is fine but chain posts will be deleted. If you
feel you have something to add to your last post and nobody has replied
please use the 'edit post' function.

9. Spam…is only allowed in Minion’s playground

10. This is an English speaking forum. All posts must be in English or
accompanied by an English translation. Posts not complying with this
will be removed...or if we are feeling particularly nice we will translate them i wonder if you have some nice secrets in there.

11.Please don't post your email address on the forum. It will be deleted.
There is a pm system available for contacting other members.

12. Aggression, insolence, disrespect towards our hard working staff will not be tolerated.

13.Every Moderator's action is a private matter so if you disagree with a
Moderator's decision, then discuss it with the Moderator via the PM
system instead of using the public topics to complain about it. MOD BASHING IS NOT TOLERATED.


14. Most definitely DO NOT post another members work and claim it as your own.

Shoutbox Rules


1. All general rules apply to the Shout box.

2. Swearing or rudeness to another member will not be tolerated the first time you do it you will be kicked from the Shot Box there after you will be banned for an increasing or permanent length of time.

3. Do not post images or links to external pages in the SB. Things like this can become very annoying and could lead to a ban.

Sig-space Rules:


1. Limit images to 3 at the most. If you exceed this we will remove one. User bars count as one image.

2. No off site advertising images. You can put a little link such as: [url=example.com]Example[/url]. If you are warned and you advertise again we will take action.

3. Most definitely DO NOT insert another members work and claim it as your own.

4. Keep quotes and words to a minimum to. We will allow 5 quotes or 250 words...should you want more ask an admin and they will asses your case.

Resource Garage Rules.


1. The general forum rules apply.

2. When you post a tutorial post it in the unclassed section. Then allow a moderator or resourcer to move it to the correct category.

3. If posting any resources that are not yours you MUST have permission from the owner and credit the owner
